its good for fitness, not just self defence - 6months training can give you a very basic understanding of how best to enter or leave or prevent a fight i did martial arts for only 2 years and stopped at a very young age - but theres things i learnt that i will never forget ----------------

dedication I have, If there is one thing I am not, it's a quitter. I would like to practice forms that enhance fluidity of motion. Always had this idea that since I relax in and around water, that if I moved like water in a fight, I'd relax and calm down.

It sounds like wushu would be better for you. That is also really good for working out and you can make it more your style, really it's all personal pref. All depends on what you want to do or learn. ---------------- ““When a warrior learns to stop the internal dialogue, everything becomes possible; the most far-fetched schemes become attainable.””

wushu is modern style of kung-fu or competition style of kung-fu such as pattern competition, sanda (Fighting competition with head gear and glove) how is it turning to be martial arts discussion forum, lol oh omaru it's never late to practice Bagua zhang but you need to require is potential patience, be calm; because Bagua zhang is bored as hell but if you are able to practice it one of the decent style around, I have practice once and I know it but I doesn't have enough patience to practice, I have a very hot and quick attitude so animal style might suit me the best like praying mantis and in the near future I have aim to train in eagle claw style. Every martial arts has it own distinction and all is effectiveness, it depend on your interest in choosing it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L0wRqR9J8WAhere is gift from me cheer! southern mantis style

as alien... tip - when alien tail locks on, press jump - makes it harder to get disc'ed - it will then execute the "sting" when you in mid air of the jump making you a pain to target even better - tail from a wall tip - when you get knocked down - aim at a wall and spam jump for an instant transfer to an opposite wall/ceiling - trying to sprint out of a knock down adds 1 second onto a getaway attempt and gets you dead ----------------

A tip for Marines against alien wall tailers ^^ i have to check it a bit out atm with someone.
But i think it works most time if you try to melee atk an alien on a wall or over your head the marine makes a small jump to it and knock the alien dizzy which gives you a short chance to kill it there^^.
Whoever is willing to testing this with me message me.

yes yes, good tip, when aliens are on walls or when you see an alien winding up tail - press melee attack with the marine - it makes them fall off the wall or staggers them ----------------

Could you rename this thread to just "AVP multiplayer tips - and some secret moves not described" as the retail game has been out for well over six months.
